Pagalingan: Literary & Musical Fests

Three groups are now busy preparing for the most awaited Literary & Musical Fests which will be held on September 28, 2008 at Valenzuela Church of the Nazarene. The three groups are named "Mighty Warriors", "Blazing Wizards, and Clever Defenders". We name the event FUNTESTic. The objective of this event is to have clean FUN and fellowship for all the church people and a TEST by having contests to see where we are in our knowledge of the Bible. We also aim at sharpening our skills and talents at the same time.

The following contests are lined up:

Bible Quiz (Genesis-for Youth and Adult; Matthew for children). This includes General Info
Bible Hunting, Bible Drill, Bible Verse Memorization
"SaYaweh" - Song Interpretation or worship Dance
"KanTayo" - a singing contest (Singing Bee type)
"Ang Drama Ko" - a 5-minute-skit contest where the participants write their own piece.
and many more exciting events

The contest will be held every last Sunday of the month. The grand winner will be declared on December 2008 Christmas party at the church. Keep posted for more information.

The Church Needs an LCD Projector!

The church is raising funds to buy an LCD Projector. The project does not only intend to keep up with technology but to better facilitate church activities. All church members are challenged to give, including children. Also, church friends shared an amount. To all who have given - Thank you very much. May God bless you more and more.
